(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Deputy Head of Hizbullah Executive Council His Eminence Sheikh Nabil Qaouk confirmed that the US wants to exploit the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL), in order to defeat the resistance and Syria, because they are both in a powerful position in confronting the US-"Israeli" schemes in the region.
Sheikh Qaouk considered that the US wants the indictment to be issued before date in order to trigger a new confrontation with the resistance, which on its part will work on defeating all the US powers in Lebanon.
On another hand, His Eminence Sheikh Nabil believed that the US seeks nothing but to serve the "Israeli" goals in Lebanon, confirming that the US has no friends in Lebanon or any intention in achieving justice or revealing the truth.
Sheikh Qaouk added that the US cares for nothing more than to target and defeat the resistance to serve the "Israeli" interests.
Nabil Qaouk stressed that the resistance will accept any confrontation and will achieve victory and become stronger, while the US schemes will be defeated.
Sheikh Qaouk affirmed that the resistance is confident that as international, political, media, psychological warfare pressures increased, the enemy will still not be able to achieve any of their goals in the Lebanese field, because it is the field of the resistance.
Deputy Head of Executive Council added that the resistance has today become present in all Lebanese sects and regions, and has been enhanced militarily, politically, and on the popular level.
